About

You already know what the blog is about, so I thought I’d tell you about my husband and I. I am originally from NJ, lived there until I was 18 before going to college at UNC Greensboro and then finishing at Salisbury University in Maryland. I then spent the majority of my post college life in Maryland. I moved to Denver, Co 5 years ago for a job promotion. My intentions were to stay here for 2 years and move back to the east coast but I fell in love, literally and figuratively. I fell in love with the outdoors life of Colorado and all it’s beauty and didn’t want to leave. I also found my husband here and he was reason enough for me to want to settle on a few more years in Colorado.

We started dating in July of 2012 and by June of 2013 he had proposed. He is 8.5 years younger than me…yeah I know, I robbed the cradle. But don’t call me a cougar…a cougar is a woman over 40 years old (in my eyes anyway) so I consider myself a puma.:-) I was 32 when we met and he knew I was ready for marriage once we were serious. So I give him props for his follow through and timeliness in the engagement:-)

We were married in June of 2014 in the same spot, on the same beach in Avon, NC where he proposed…romantic I know. We soon bought a dog and then a new house and had everything, except the baby we wanted. So our TTC and IVF journey begins…
